Halloween in Ronda 2026: Activities, Parade and Autumn Getaway Ideas

visitar ronda en halloween

Ronda will celebrate Halloween on Saturday, 31 October 2026 with an afternoon of family activities and a charity haunted house at the Convent of Santo Domingo. The programme includes a street parade, children’s workshops and an experience inspired this year by the world of Resident Evil.

The event can be the perfect reason for an autumn getaway: spend part of the day exploring the historic centre, take part in the activities and, if you stay longer, discover the landscapes and wines of the Serranía de Ronda.

Halloween programme

The day will begin at 17:00 with a street parade from Martínez Astein to Plaza del Socorro. From 17:30 to 20:30, there will be face-painting, badge-making, temporary tattoo and hair-colouring workshops.

From 19:30, the activities will move to the Convent of Santo Domingo, where the haunted house will take place. This year’s experience is inspired by Resident Evil: visitors will make their way through different rooms of the convent following a story involving zombies, mutations and human experiments, brought to life with theatrical and audiovisual effects.

Admission costs €2, with all proceeds going to the local Red Cross branch to support its work with vulnerable individuals and families in Ronda and the Serranía. Before attending, it is advisable to check ticket availability and access details with the organisers.

What to do in Ronda before the activities

Halloween activities take place in the afternoon and evening, but you can make the most of the day by visiting some of Ronda’s most iconic sights without trying to fit too much in.

Explore the historic centre

Spend a few hours wandering through the historic centre and discovering its squares, buildings and hidden corners. Leave yourself enough time to stop for a drink or visit a monument, checking opening times in advance.

Visit the Puente Nuevo and the Tajo

The Puente Nuevo is one of Ronda’s most famous landmarks. You can admire it from the nearby viewpoints and continue your walk through the Alameda del Tajo. In autumn, the milder temperatures generally make exploring the city on foot more enjoyable.

Plan your afternoon around the programme

If you want to attend the street parade and workshops, allow enough time to reach Plaza del Socorro. For the haunted house, check the latest ticket and access information, as demand may be high and the organisers may update the details.

An autumn getaway beyond Halloween

Book your wine tasting experience at Doña Felisa Winery in Ronda

If you have a full weekend, you can dedicate one day to the Halloween activities and another to exploring Ronda and its surroundings at a more relaxed pace. The Genal Valley, the villages of the Serranía and their autumn landscapes offer an excellent alternative for visitors who want to combine the atmosphere of the town with nature and local gastronomy.

To round off your getaway with a wine tourism experience, Bodega Doña Felisa offers wine tourism experiences in Ronda at both Finca Chinchilla and Viña Amaya, its new winery inaugurated in September 2026. You can contact the winery in advance to check the available experiences, opening times and availability for each visit.

This is a plan best reserved for another part of your getaway rather than necessarily on Halloween itself. That way, you can enjoy Ronda’s activities without rushing and dedicate enough time to discovering the winery and the landscapes of the Serranía.

Halloween in Ronda combines activities for all ages with a charitable initiative. If you extend your stay, you can add heritage, autumn scenery and wine tourism to your getaway.
